No construction may commence without approval from the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) in accordance with provisions established within the Covenants, Reservations & Restrictions of Mountain Laurel Estates. Details on the Protective Covenants and ACC Standards can be found in Articles IV and V of the Covenants.
There are three (3) forms/steps to receive approval for all new home builds and improvements. These requirements also apply to adding secondary structures at a later time, such as outbuildings & sheds.
Steps 1 & 2 can be submitted together to save time. Step 2 requires a property survey and detailed documentation of home build plans or improvements, materials, colors, etc.
Step 3 requires documentation of any changes to build plans or property survey, in addition to contractor/builder documents regarding insurance, liability, risk, and other contracts.
